Job summary

Inflector Environmental Services is expanding its Edmonton market to include fireproofing and firestopping services, and we are seeking motivated individuals to build a long-term career with a team that values safety, professionalism, and excellence.

Join our Edmonton/Calgary operations as a fireproofing assistant. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $34.00 per hour, with opportunities to travel for out-of-town projects and participate in a supportive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Experience in Industrial construction as a fire proofer or painter.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Proficient English-language skills.
• Valid Canadian residency and/or work permit.
• Valid G2 or G driver's license considered an asset.
• WHMIS & Working at Heights is an asset.
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be willing to participate in out of town work on a periodic basis.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup and operation of equipment used for fireproofing, such as sprayers and pumps.
• Mixing and applying fireproofing materials according to manufacturer guidelines and project requirements.
• Working collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals efficiently and safely.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

• $23.00-$34.00 per hour
