Job summary

Beyond Thermal in Calgary is seeking a Fireproofing Labourer to prep, handle and install fireproofing and firestopping materials on a busy, physical job site.

You will assist crews, move scaffolding, prep spaces to be sprayed, complete daily paperwork, and work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts, with overtime and weekend work as required. A minimum 1+ year experience and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience installing fireproofing materials.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and work hands-on.
• Valid driver’s license and experience driving trucks with trailers.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews in applying mud and fiber materials for fireproofing.
• Assist with moving scaffolding and other equipment.
• Prep spaces to be sprayed ahead of installer and clean up behind the installer.
• Daily paperwork.

What we need:

Beyond Thermal is looking for a Fireproofing Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be prepping, handling, and installing fireproofing and firestopping materials in a physically active job site environment.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience installing fireproofing materials and understanding application systems.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and work in a hands-on environment.
• Valid driver’s license and experience driving trucks with trailers.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

What it pays:

• $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience and skillset.
• Bonus pay opportunities.
