Fire Safety Engineering Analyst

The department of Safety Engineering at AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy is engaged in deterministic and probabilistic fire assessments in support of new CANDU Nuclear Power Plants as well as supporting the operation and safety of the existing domestic and international CANDU plants.
AtkinsRéalis is looking to hire a Fire Safety Engineering Analyst. The incumbent will work together with other senior and junior staff to develop and apply advanced analysis methodologies to address client/project concerns regarding safety and licensing for plant support, refurbishment, and new-build. These include issues related to fire hazard assessment (FHA), fire probabilistic safety assessment (PSA), fire safe shutdown analysis (FSSA), and fire code compliance review (CCR). The candidates are expected to enhance their technical skills through on-the-job training and be ready to take on various technical tasks within a short period of time.
