Job summary

North American Security Services, Inc. seeks a sprinkler designer to develop safe, efficient fire protection systems. You will review building plans, determine sprinkler placement, and ensure compliance with local codes and insurance standards.

Responsibilities include hydraulic calculations, detailed drawings, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors. Site visits and inspections ensure proper installation and system functionality.

Qualifications

• Customer service focused experience in a B2B environment preferred.
• Experience in fire protection or mechanical/electrical contracting is a definite asset.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection system designs compliant with codes and standards.
• Create system layouts and perform hydraulic calculations for water flow and pressure.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout construction/renovation.
• Visit sites to verify installations and support the installation team.
