A leading design firm is looking for an Intermediate Fire Protection Designer in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role involves designing sprinkler, suppression, and fire alarm systems, conducting fire code analyses, and assessing existing protection systems. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, at least 4 years of experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. The position involves collaboration with various teams and direct client interactions for project delivery, making it essential to have good organizational skills and a customer service commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, consulting experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and communicate with clients.
• Knowledge of fire dynamics and behavior of materials in fire is desired.

Responsabilités

• Design fire protection systems including suppression and detection.
• Prepare technical reports and oversee drafting of fire protection systems.
• Conduct site audits and verify systems performance.
