Job summary

Victaulic in Vancouver, BC seeks a Fire Protection Business Development Representative to drive growth by engaging Owners, C‑Suite executives and Fire Protection Engineers while showcasing Victaulic’s fire protection capabilities.

The role requires extensive technical fire protection knowledge, solid sales experience, and the ability to travel within the Vancouver market. A strong engineering background and proximity to Vancouver are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with fire protection experience.
• Proven track record in sales and relationship management within the Vancouver fire protection market.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage engineers and C‑Suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with owners and C‑Suite executives.
• Conduct technical discussions and product-focused meetings to demonstrate Victaulic’s fire protection capabilities.
• Develop business cases showing ROI of Victaulic solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate on specifications and provide technical guidance through project lifecycles.
• Travel occasionally to cover Vancouver and surrounding areas.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical/Civil Eng with fire protection experience

MBA is a significant asset
