Financial Support Representative
Human Services – Income and Social Supports
Status: 1 Regular Full Time & 1 Contract Full Time (up to 12 Months)
Salary Range: $61,104 – $71,810 per annum
Hourly Range: $33.57 – $39.46 per hour
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: 7120 Hurontario St., Mississauga, Ontario or 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton, Ontario
Hours of Work:35 hours per week

Our mandate is to help lift Peel residents out of poverty by supporting them to take steps towards employment, greater independence, and an improved quality of life.The Role:In this role you willcontrol the distribution of finances and receipt of recoveries in accordance with governing Ontario Works legislation and policies through the use of computers and mainframe systems, and to maintain accurate records of all transactions.What you will do in this role:

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are currently in the bargaining unit. This position is a bargaining unit position represented by CUPE Local 966. Continuous employment is not guaranteed and may be subject to layoffs as outlined in the Collective Agreement Article 15.
