Role Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and collaborative Sales & Procurement Manager to help grow our Fresh Seafood business within the Foodservice channel. This role combines responsibilities in sales and procurement to support both existing and new customer growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foodservice sales and a solid understanding of procurement strategies, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Drive foodservice sales by building on current customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities (e.g., catering, healthcare, distributors, further processors).
  • Act as assistant buyer for select procurement categories to support and align with customer growth and product needs.
  • Collaborate with other sales channels and the frozen seafood procurement team to ensure alignment across offerings and customer segments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including QA and product development, to support product execution and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Review and analyze weekly sales reports; schedule and lead regular meetings with Fresh Sales and other relevant teams.
  • Ensure sales and profitability targets are met through effective forecasting, planning, and collaboration.
  • Represent the company at seafood industry events and other business-related functions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in seafood sales and procurement, preferably in fresh seafood.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and contributing to business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with sales or ERP systems is an asset.
  • Up to 30% travel.
