CIBC Mellon is seeking a Supervisor, Financial Reporting to lead the production of timely financial reporting for client funds in compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires project and people management, deep knowledge of investment funds, and the ability to maintain service levels amid regulatory changes.

The position focuses on coordinating audits for medium-sized clients, overseeing statements, and guiding a team through IFRS updates and complex fund mandates.

Qualificações

• University degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent.
• Working towards professional designation is preferred.
• 4-6 years progressive relevant experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical ability.
• Knowledge in GAAP, IFRS and NI-81-106 as they relate to mutual funds.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with external auditors on financial statement audits for medium-sized clients.
• Manage interim and annual financial statements including supporting packages.
• Complete month-end and financial reporting tasks for fund clients as required.
• Maintain relations with medium-sized clients and respond to queries.
• Coordinate audits with clients, auditors and internal partners.
• Lead team HR activities including performance reviews and coaching.
