  • Ensure Aeroplan’s financial activities align with the investor agreements and corporate policies, including compliance with distribution-related covenants. Liaise with internal stakeholders (Treasury, Legal) to ensure alignment on these requirements.
Cash Flow & Distributable Cash Monitoring
  • Compile cash flow reports and monitor liquidity versus required reserves including calculations for available distributable cash to shareholders.
  • Co-ordinate the accounting and execution of any distributions to investors.
Internal Controls
  • Implement and maintain strong 52-109 internal controls over financial reporting for all new processes introduced by Aeroplan’s minority investment structure.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Projects
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis related to Aeroplan’s capital structure or shareholder arrangements.
  • Provide input to financial analysis and reports for Board meetings or special committees regarding Aeroplan.
