Qualifications

• Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must meet regulatory licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment.
• Advanced working knowledge of financial industry.
• Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
• Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
• Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with new and existing customers to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
• Implement business development strategies to acquire new business via outbound calls and branch referrals.
• Engage customers to grow BMO’s business by generating appointments and building relationships.
• Identify opportunities to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking products.
• Support achievement of sales and performance targets.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan to meet client needs.
• Respond to investment requests and refer to partners as appropriate.
• Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on business needs.
