The position offers industry-leading training, support, and a portfolio of clients. You will work with a collaborative team, meet regulatory requirements, and pursue sales targets while delivering solutions aligned with client goals.

Qualifications

• Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must meet the regulatory / governing body licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment.
• Advanced working knowledge of financial industry.
• Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with new and existing customers to assess needs and grow loyalty.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to acquire new business (outbound calling campaigns and referrals).
• Engage customers to grow BMO’s business by generating appointments and building relationships within the community.
• Identify opportunities to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking products.
• Support the achievement of sales and performance targets.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan to meet client needs.
