Job summary

You will deliver financial and investment planning, assess client needs, and propose solutions across managed products such as funds and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Must meet regulatory licensing requirements of a Financial Planner in the province/territory of employment.
• Advanced working knowledge of financial industry.
• Specialized knowledge from education or business experience.
• Strong verbal & written communication, collaboration & team skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong influence skills and client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with new and existing customers to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan to meet client needs.
• Provide financial and investment planning and advice, including solutions through managed products (mutual funds, retirement plans).
• Engage customers to grow business via appointments, referrals, and partnerships.
• Maintain knowledge of personal investment products and industry trends and apply to client conversations.
