Job summary

iA Financial Group in Quebec is seeking a Financial Performance Advisor to evolve cost allocation, lead planning and budgeting, and deliver actionable management analyses. You will collaborate with business units and leadership to improve FP&A processes, introduce automation, and provide clear financial insights that guide strategic decisions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, autonomy, and a CPA asset, with experience in Excel and financial systems like Oracle/Smart View.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • CPA designation is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical abilities and sound professional judgment.
  • Autonomy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle/Smart View or equivalent systems.

As a Financial Performance Advisor, you will play a key role in transforming and evolving the organization's financial practices by supporting financial planning, cost allocation, and performance analysis processes.

What You Will Accomplish with Us
  • Ensuring the evolution, maintenance, and governance of the organization's cost allocation model;
  • Participating in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities;
  • Producing and analyzing management financial information for leadership teams;
  • Supporting business partners in understanding their financial results and cost drivers;
  • Conducting complex financial analyses and providing recommendations to support management decisions;
  • Developing and enhancing tools, dashboards, and performance indicators;
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and practices;
  • Supporting the transformation of the finance function by participating in strategic initiatives and advancing data, automation, and business intelligence practices within FP&A;
  • Collaborating closely with business units to ensure financial information is reliable, relevant, and action-oriented.
What Will Help You Succeed in This Role
  • Is recognized for strong analytical abilities, sound professional judgment, and critical thinking skills;
  • Demonstrates an ability to simplify financial information and positively influence decision-making;
  • Stands out through autonomy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills;
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Possesses a CPA designation, considered a strong asset;
  • Has relevant experience in financial planning, financial analysis, management control, or management accounting;
  • Has experience in financial modeling, data analysis, budgeting processes, and financial forecasting;
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Excel and knowledge of corporate financial systems such as Oracle, Smart View, or equivalent tools;
  • Has an interest in automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies applied to finance;
  • Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves occasional interactions with English-speaking internal partners.
