Qualifications

• Holds a university degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Has 10+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Functional Architect in the accounting domain.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of ERP solutions, preferably Oracle, within a financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor in analysis, definition and evolution of business requirements; align with strategic and technology directions.
• Design, document, and recommend functional and system solutions tailored to internal clients; consider sustainability, performance, security and integration.
• Define and structure business requirements, functional rules, data transformation rules, interfaces, reports and dashboards for effective solutions.
• Analyze impacts of changes and present recommendations and solution scenarios to diverse audiences.
• Serve as liaison between business sectors, delivery teams, technology partners and external vendors.
• Participate in evaluation of new applications and features; oversee testing strategies and user adoption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and provide functional leadership or product ownership as required.

• Participate in the evaluation of new applications, features, and technology capabilities, oversee testing strategies, and support users in validating and adopting solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technology transformation initiatives, ensure the quality of functional deliverables, and provide functional leadership or product ownership when required.

What Will Help You Succeed in This Role

• Holds a university degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Has a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Functional Architect in the accounting field.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of ERP solutions, preferably Oracle, within a financial environment, as well as a solid understanding of accounting processes.
• Excels in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Can effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Possesses an excellent command of French and an intermediate level of English, as the incumbent will be required to analyze and prepare reports in English, as well as collaborate with English-speaking partners on a daily basis.
