Your Responsibilities
  • You’ll lead accounting system integrations and conversions, supporting transitions from legacy systems to modern platforms such as Sage 300
  • In this role, you’ll manage trial balance reconciliations and ensure accuracy across multiple acquired entities
  • You’ll support purchase price accounting, including valuations, journal entries, and post‑close adjustments
  • You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to align financial, legal, and operational requirements
  • You’ll communicate financial changes clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams
  • You’ll help train and guide newly integrated teams, setting them up for long‑term success
Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in acquisition accounting, transaction advisory, or related consulting work
  • Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to interpret complex financial and legal documentation in both languages
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards, including acquisition accounting practices
  • Demonstrated experience with financial systems and data integrations
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach
