KATIMAVIK in Montreal is seeking a Finance and Accounting Director to lead all financial operations and drive strategic financial planning in a fast-evolving professional organization.

You will supervise a team of about 10, partner with senior management on budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, and lead ERP implementation and process improvements across the group.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• 10+ years in finance and accounting.
• Proven leadership of a ~10-person team.
• Experience implementing or optimizing ERP systems.
• Strong ability to structure financial operations.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

DESIRED PROFILE:

• CPA required
• More than 10 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Significant experience in team management
• Experience in ERP system implementation or optimization
• Excellent ability to structure and improve financial operations
• Strategic leadership with strong operational execution capability
• Hands‑on, versatile, and solution‑oriented profile
• Ability to wear multiple hats in a dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Very good organizational and prioritization skills
• Advanced bilingualism required (professional level in French and English — ideally 8/10 in both languages)
• French may be slightly less strong as several accounting operations are performed in English
