Job summary

PRI Engineering Corp. in Mississauga, ON is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting, close, and financial reporting across multiple entities. You will own the monthly close, run audits and tax cycles, and partner with the CFO to scale finance for a growing group.

The role requires CPA designation, 8+ years of accounting experience (3+ years as a Controller), and strong ASPE knowledge. You will manage a small team and own ERP systems, including Deltek Vantagepoint.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required with accounting leadership experience.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting work, incl. 3+ years as Controller.
• Experience consolidating multiple entities and intercompany transactions.
• Strong ASPE knowledge and Canadian tax basics.
• Experience leading a small accounting team and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for entities and consolidated group.
• Prepare consolidated and entity financial statements under ASPE.
• Manage project accounting including revenue recognition and WIP.
• Oversee AR/AP, payroll, cash forecasting, and banking reporting.
• Lead audit, tax cycles, and regulatory filings for all entities.
