Fed Finance is seeking a Financial Controller for a client on Montreal's South Shore. The permanent, hybrid-position requires a CPA and 5–8 years of accounting/financial analysis experience, with strong Excel and ERP skills. French and English fluency is essential to collaborate with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA qualification essential.
• 5 to 8 years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Experience in a small-to-medium manufacturing business.
• Proficient in full accounting cycle and budgeting.
• Excellent Excel skills; knowledge of ERP systems.
• Functional command of French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire accounting cycle and supervise an accounting technician.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyse variances.
• Coordinate year-ends and external audit files.
• Draw up budgets, financial forecasts and performance indicators.
• Analyse costs, margins and profitability to support decisions.
• Advise senior management on investments and cost optimization.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure tax compliance.
