Job summary

Fed Finance is seeking a Financial Controller for a client on Montreal's South Shore. This permanent role is offered in hybrid mode, combining on-site presence with flexible work.

You will oversee accounting activities, prepare budgets and annual statements, ensure compliance, monitor cash flow, and drive profitability through cost analysis and governance tools. CPA is a plus; leadership and IT fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance or related field is required.
• CPA qualification is an asset or a requirement depending on the role.
• Experience in financial management and supervising the accounting team is expected.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities and coordinate the team to ensure timely monthly and annual statements.
• Prepare budgets, analyse results and explain variances from forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations and coordinate external audits.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital requirements.
