Job summary

Fed Finance is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician for a permanent hybrid role on Montreal’s South Shore. You will analyze balances, reconcile AP with the general ledger, and prepare payment reports while handling high-volume transactions.

The ideal candidate has 6–9 years in AP, is bilingual in French and English, and proficient in Excel. This hybrid position offers collaboration with finance teams and exposure to BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyse outstanding balances and monitor discrepancies.
• Identify and correct duplicate transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable with the general ledger.
• Analyse accounts payable in the context of high-volume transactions.
• Prepare payment control reports and BI dashboards.
• Process and monitor payments by cheque, direct debit and bank transfer.
• Respond to enquiries from suppliers and internal teams.
