We are looking for a passionate Financial Controller to join our team.
This key role supports our financial performance while embodying Tristan’s core values of respect, customer passion, collaboration, and innovation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in cost price analysis and the meticulous tracking of accounting data. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that financial processes align with operational needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing product cost prices and making recommendations to optimize margins;
Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, and liaising with external auditors and tax authorities;
Preparing financial statements and management reports;
Ensuring compliance with current accounting standards and tax regulations;
Developing financial analysis reports for management;
Participating in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts;
Monitoring and analyzing budget variances and recommending adjustments;
Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and cost management;
Implementing solutions to optimize procedures and tools.
What we are looking for:
Between 3 and 5 years of experience in financial accounting;
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Business Central;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
CPA designation (an asset).
