Clerk 3 Financial Stream duties will vary depending on the position. Duties may include:

  • Processing financial transactions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Entering and maintaining timekeeping records and providing payroll-related support.
  • Acting as a financial clerical resource for branch/division staff by responding to inquiries and resolving financial issues.
  • Maintaining confidential financial information and records.
  • Providing general clerical and administrative support as required.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Completion of a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and related experience may be considered.
  • Experience performing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting and/or maintaining financial records.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately process and maintain financial information with a high degree of thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and personal information.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, or equivalent software programs.
  • Effective written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and edit correspondence and other written materials.
  • Effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally communicate with internal and external contacts.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using SAP (Financial Module) or an equivalent financial management software.
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate fluently in French
