Job summary

Pure Flavor Farms LP is seeking a Financial and ESG Analyst to join our Windsor team. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive business improvements, with about half the time dedicated to ESG initiatives, development of programs, policies, and reporting.

You will develop KPIs, support ESG strategy, and collaborate with management to prioritize needs for each business segment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; advanced Excel required.
  • Experience with ERP software and dashboards (Power BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business insights.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize needs for each business segment, shape analytical direction and provide recommendations.
  • Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes.
  • Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base.
  • Work with departmental managers to outline the data needs for informed decisions.
  • Reporting to financial and government agencies.
  • Contribute to the ESG strategy development and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on data and target setting; develop and monitor KPIs.
  • Advise on ESG standards, principles, and policies.
  • Conduct benchmarking and market research for ESG disclosures; present solutions.
  • Develop and maintain tools to evaluate and report progress against ESG goals.
  • Coordinate environment and social initiatives and regulatory compliance.

The Financial and ESG Analyst supports internal and external reporting, turning raw data into actionable insights to drive business improvements. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-motivated, and capable of identifying opportunities for operational efficiency. This dual-role also dedicates approximately 50% of time to supporting Pure Flavor's sustainability (ESG) initiatives, contributing to the development and execution of programs, policies, and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business
  • Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment, shape analytical direction and provide recommendations to the business.
  • Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes.
  • Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base.
  • Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for them to make more informed management decisions.
  • Reporting to financial and government agencies.
  • Participate in the development of the company's ESG strategy and implementation.
  • Contribute to the development and publication of ESG reports including collecting data, metrics, and consolidating information requests.
  • Collaborate with key internal teams on relevant data and target setting.
  • Develop KPIs and targets and oversee the collection of performance data and monitor progress.
  • Advise on and develop ESG standards, principles, and policies.
  • Conduct benchmarking and market research, follow trends, and provide best practices for ESG disclosures while identifying gaps and presenting solutions.
  • Develop and maintain tools and mechanisms to evaluate, track and report on progress against company ESG goals.
  • Coordinating the environment and social initiatives and the compliance to law and regulatory requirements of the Pure Flavor locations.
  • Other core expectations as defined by the company.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Business Administration, required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (required).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is imperative.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP Software is considered an
  • Experience with Power BI and/or creating dashboards is considered an asset.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge; recommend and implement best practices.
  • Analytical thinker: able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to offer ideas and concepts to various stakeholders, internal and external.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Job requirements include light to moderate lifting, such as files This job operates in a clerical, office setting with moderate noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Individual must be able to work flexible hours (if necessary), have ability to travel, and must have a valid passport.
Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a salary range of $50,000.00 - $60,000.00CAD annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and internal equity. In addition, Pure Flavor provides a competitive total rewards package that includes company-paid benefits, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
