What You’ll Do

Planful System Support (~50%)

  • Support day-to-day Planful administration: user access and security requests, workflow support, troubleshooting, and internal customer response.
  • Maintain and update planning templates, input schedules, mappings, and hierarchy structures as assigned.
  • Execute data loads, validations, reconciliations, and refresh routines to ensure data integrity and timely availability.
  • Support planning cycle execution (budget, forecast, LRP) by monitoring workflows, following up on submissions, and helping resolve process issues.
  • Document recurring procedures; maintain SOPs and training materials to support user enablement and adoption.

Financial Analysis & Advisory (~50%)

  • Prepare and maintain recurring and predictive financial analysis for operational expenses and corporate revenue streams, including trend analysis and variance explanations.
  • Support budget and forecast deliverables—compile inputs, validate assumptions, and prepare summary reporting and commentary for management.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based models and scenario analyses to support spend visibility, scenario planning, and decisions.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting packs and executive-ready summaries; highlight key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support performance reviews by preparing materials, capturing actions, and tracking follow-through to closure.

Data Quality, Reconciliation & Controls

  • Perform reconciliations across Planful, ERP, and financial reporting outputs; identify anomalies and support root-cause resolution.
  • Partner with Finance teammates and business stakeholders to clarify definitions, improve data discipline, and strengthen adoption of planning routines.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve recurring reporting/analysis processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
What You Bring
  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis and reporting
  • Solid accounting knowledge: you understand how the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow connect, and can explain variances with proper accounting rationale.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA designation or active pursuit strongly preferred; MBA is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving and variance explanation
  • Hands‑on experience with financial planning tools (Planful preferred, or a comparable platform).
  • Comfort with system administration tasks—user setup, access management, workflow support—in addition to analytical work.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar BI tools are an asset.
  • ERP exposure and experience working with large datasets across multiple systems.
  • Clear communicator who can translate financial detail into concise, executive-ready output.
Why Join Us
  • Competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • RRSP matching program.
  • Hybrid, flexible work and time-off schedule.
  • A role with genuine breadth—you’ll develop both systems fluency and analytical depth in a single seat.
