Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the books of fund managers, investment funds, and their associated entities. Draft and book journals to accounting systems such as FIS and GP Dynamics.
• Assist with quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Keep and organize supporting documentation for accounting treatment.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related reports.
• Stay informed on accounting standard updates including ASPE, IFRS, NI 81-106, etc.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to support finance-related initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and suggest improvements.
