Durham College in Oshawa is seeking a Full-time Support Staff member in the Finance department. The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting and reporting, with occasional travel to Whitby campus.
The position supports budget holders, external auditors and internal stakeholders across multiple financial cycles. The incumbent will prepare budgets, project cash flows, maintain capital asset records and ensure timely financial reporting.

The role of the incumbent is to perform financial planning, financialanalysis, cash flow projections, tagging of capital and prepare internal andexternal reports for Durham College. Specifically, the incumbent will assist in the preparation of budgets,aid in the submission of external and internal reports, maintain and developweekly cash flow projections, ensure all capital is tagged and correctlyentered into the system, journal and budget entries and prepare monthly,quarterly and year-end reconciliations for Finance and Payroll. The incumbent will adhere to Ministrydeadlines and guidelines in submitting all required reports. The incumbent will be a resource person forthe external auditors and budget holders throughout the year and will addressany issues as required.
