Located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, we are seeking a Financial Analyst for a full-time, permanent position.

Wood Products Business Unit

If you are quality-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, this role could be a great fit.

• Consolidate monthly financial reports for approximately twenty wood product mills
• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial data for these mills
• Create analyses and presentations for sales and logistics departments
• Participate in financial forecasting and monthly closing processes for all business units
• Prepare financial reports for audits and surveys
• Manage the cost reporting system
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain data integrity for management reports
• Identify opportunities to improve data consolidation and reporting processes

Your team

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Accounting and Special Projects – Wood Products, you will collaborate with a team of three professionals.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA designation
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in the wood products industry is an asset
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in both official languages with excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment
• Capable of working under pressure, teamwork, and quick adaptation
• Detail-oriented and meticulous
• Proficient in MS Excel and technical skills
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset
