We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for our client’s IT infrastructure operations.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our client is a global leader in science and technology, providing a breadth of expertise and solutions to customers worldwide. As IT Infrastructure FP&A Analyst you will be instrumental in managing financial forecasts, reconciling variances, and enhancing financial processes. You will require a background in Finance with experience in General Ledger (GL), Amortization, Accruals, and excellent communication skills to train IT stakeholders on financial best practices.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing financial analysis and variance reconciliation, identifying key cost drivers and financial trends.
• Developing, managing, and refining financial forecasts to ensure accurate IT infrastructure budgeting.
• Building and continuously improving forecasting standard work, ensuring consistency and efficiency in financial planning
• Collaborating with IT and finance teams to align financial strategies with infrastructure needs.
• Supporting budgeting, cost allocation, and reporting processes for IT infrastructure expenditures.

ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Strong experience in General Ledger (GL), Amortization, and Accruals.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively train and collaborate with IT leaders.
• General IT or IT infrastructure knowledge is a strong asset

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a 6-month contract, with a strong intent to extend, to be performed remotely anywhere in North America.
