Manulife, Toronto, invites a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and modernize enterprise‑scale financial systems within the Finance Solution Delivery team. You will design, develop, and deploy across the full software lifecycle leveraging Java, Python, Node.js, SQL, and Azure data services to support Finance and Treasury applications.

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and/or Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and Transact‑SQL.
• Development experience with Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with GitHub and modern source‑control practices.
• Exposure to SQL Server and BI tools such as Power BI.
• Interest in AI applications within software engineering and business solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deliver software across the lifecycle.
• Build and enhance solutions using Java, Python, Node.js, SQL, and Azure data services.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL/Transact‑SQL for data‑intensive apps.
• Collaborate with Finance/Treasury stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and standards.
• Modernize existing applications and contribute to target‑state architecture.
• Develop, integrate, and support applications in a controlled enterprise environment.
• Use GitHub and modern practices to support collaborative delivery.
• Create documentation covering requirements, design, testing, and handover.
• Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and improve performance and reliability.
• Bring curiosity and propose better approaches.
