THE TEAM

The mission of the Payroll Department is to accurately process employee compensation, ensuring timeliness and compliance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Payroll team is expanding. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, every time. As the Specialist, Payroll, you will be responsible for the effective processing of employee payroll and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory standards. THE ROLE

As the Specialist, Payroll, you will:

  1. Prepare accurate payroll data entries in the payroll system.
  2. Calculate gross to net processing of employee compensation.
  3. Provide timely and accurate information to relevant parties.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Establish governance and controls to mitigate financial risks.
THE QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven skills, education, and/or certifications in Canadian and/or US Payroll, with an understanding of employment standards in these regions.
  • A commitment to learn and embody Aritzia's Values and Leadership principles.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • A dedication to quality and results that add value to the business.
THE COMPENSATION

The typical salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 CAD annually. Final salary will depend on experience, skills, and knowledge. We are open to candidates with varying qualifications, and the scope of work and salary may be adjusted accordingly.
