Job summary

Aritzia in Vancouver is seeking a Senior Manager / Manager, Business Finance, Digital, to lead the team and partner with the business to elevate financial performance through strategic expense management and ROI evaluations.

You will forecast, analyze drivers of growth, provide timely reporting to leadership, and help shape short- and long-term corporate objectives while supporting high-potential colleagues in their career development.

Qualifications

• FP&A experience, ideally in Retail or eCommerce.
• Ability to build financial models and business cases from complex data.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the business, guiding decisions with fact-based analysis and ROI evaluations.
• Forecast sales and expenses in short and long term, explaining drivers of growth.
• Analyze P&L drivers and external macro trends affecting results.
• Provide timely reporting to Leadership with highlights, risks and opportunities.

THE TEAM

The mission of the Business Finance Department is to maximize Aritzia’s financial performance and drive business objectives through strategic financial insight.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for producing insightful financial analysis, effectively managing Aritzia’s financial assets and providing senior leadership with the required information and analysis to make informed business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in Aritzia’s future growth by providing strategic and innovative solutions to support the business in achieving both short and long-term corporate objectives. THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager / Manager, Business Finance, Digital, you will lead the team to:

• Act as a strategic partner to the business, collaborating to proactively elevate Aritzia’s financial performance, championing smart spending and guiding the business through fact-driven decisions, strategic expense management, ROI evaluations, and seamless budget alignment
• Forecast sales and/or business expenses in the short and long term, simultaneously analyzing and explaining key drivers of future growth
• Analyze business results including the internal (business-driven) and external (macroeconomic) drivers for P&L line items
• Provide our business partners and Aritzia Leadership Team with timely and accurate reporting on performance results, calling out key highlights, risks, and opportunities

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in:
• FP&A, ideally supporting Digital or eCommerce within the Retail industry
• Building financial models and business cases with complex data to generate insights that inform operational investment decisions
• Data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• ERP systems, SAP preferred
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $100,000 – $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
