Aritzia is seeking a Senior Manager / Manager, Accounting to lead the team responsible for accurate general ledger reporting and timely financial accounting. You will govern the financial data and ensure policy compliance while collaborating with cross-functional partners to support corporate objectives.

THE TEAM

The mission of the Accounting Department is to account for every financial transaction in the general ledger accurately and on time to enable informed decision making.

You will play a pivotal role in managing the accuracy and quality of the accounting and general ledger reporting, while ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager / Manager, Accounting, you will lead the team to:

• Govern the financial data that builds our financial reporting Process financial transactions accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance in accordance with accounting policies
• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience:

• CPA designation required
• Progressive Accounting experience, including leading direct reports
• Working with ERP systems
• Highly proficient in Excel, data analysis, and automation tools
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy. The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
