Aritzia LP is expanding its Product Business Technology team in Vancouver, seeking a Senior Lead Data Visualization Engineer to design and deliver analytics experiences that drive data-informed decisions across Planning, Buying, Allocation and Pricing.

You will lead UX-driven visualizations, partner with Analytics Engineering, and ensure data accuracy, quality and adoption of analytics products across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience creating custom data visualizations and data experiences using modern tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Ability to lead the design process from ideation to polished designs using sketches, wireframes, UX scenarios and mockups.
• Expertise building scalable analytics solutions for large data volumes and interactive reporting.
• Experience using SQL to transform data into useful formats.

THE TEAM

The mission of the Product Business Technology department is to design, build, deliver, and operate scalable technology, data, analytics, and AI solutions that align with the strategic objectives of Product Business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Product Business Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to join the Product Business Technology department, where you will be part of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving technology, data analytics, and AI solutions in support of our Planning, Buying, Allocation and Pricing workflows. As the Senior Lead Data Visualization Engineer / Lead Data Visualization Engineer, Product Business Technology, you will maximize the value of Aritzia’s data by leading the design and delivery of intuitive, high-impact analytical experiences that are easily absorbed, heavily adopted, and enable data-informed decision making across Product Business. You will combine a deep understanding of our business with expertise in data visualization and user experience to shape best practices, solve complex visualization challenges, and elevate how data is experienced and consumed. THE ROLE

• Lead the buildout of trusted, user-friendly and performant analytics solutions that enable self-serve insights, ensuring that the data used for visualization is accurate, complete, and high quality.
• Lead the product management cycle to effectively plan and deliver new analytics solutions.
• Leverage data visualization tools to develop scalable, performant, and maintainable analytics solutions.
• Leverage user experience design principles to design intuitive and interactive visualizations.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of data visualizations to communicate design ideas.
• Maximize the value of new and existing analytics solutions by driving adoption and enhancing solution integrity through proactive monitoring and support.
• Partner with Analytics Engineering to provide data models that unlock business value, inclusive of data cleansing, transformation, and delivery.
• Support with effectively planning and delivering high-quality Data & Analytics products for our customers and the business.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:
• Experience creating custom data visualizations and data experiences using modern tools. (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Ability to lead the design process from ideation to polished design, using sketches, wireframes, UX scenarios and mockups to present ideas.
• Expertise building scalable solutions for handling large data volumes, complex, and interactive reporting.
• Experience using SQL to transform data into useful formats.
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners

THE COMPENSATION

The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year.

Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
