Job summary

Berkeley Payment Solutions is seeking a senior finance leader in Canada to own day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close, freeing the VP Finance to drive ERP and AI-based process redesign. The role is remote with hybrid expectations and a path toward broader transformation leadership.

In this senior position, you will guide the accounting team, ensure robust internal controls, and collaborate on multi-currency reconciliation for USD/CAD activities while advancing the finance

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required and must be licensed.
• Payments industry experience on issuer or acquirer side is preferred.
• Proven track record leading small teams to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process end-to-end with timely, accurate statements.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting across AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Serve as audit lead and manage external auditors relationship.
• Manage and develop a team of 4 accounting staff.
• Protect QBO integrity during transition and assist ERP migration.
• Partner with VP Finance on transformation projects and ERP selection.
• Contribute to AI-driven finance initiatives and tooling adoption.
