Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role is in an emerging sector experiencing rapid growth.

We are recruiting on behalf of a “Top Employer” located in the downtown core. They are currently seeking a progressive Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with 4+ years of experience to join one of their business units with the largest growth in emerging markets, responsible for various operating businesses, and providing leadership on critical projects & initiatives.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Design, develop, manage analytics & scorecards including key performance indictors

• Manage the delivery of valuations, pricing, market assessments, benchmarking & business cases

• Lead complex financial economic analysis, deliver accurate forecasts using strong data tools

• Conduct research on industry trends, competitive results, cost of acquisition, customer value

• Full responsibility for business planning, intercompany reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Lead multiple projects and tactfully influence senior management

The company is offering a strong compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary plus significant bonus component, RRSP contributions, excellent benefit program, 4 weeks vacation, and other significant perks. The successful candidate will possess the following:

• 4+ years of total work experience including relevant sector experience

• Aptitude for technology and optimization of reports using PowerPoint for executive audiences

• Ability to balance technical work with strategic thinking and effective business consultant

• Advanced analytical and modeling skills for business cases to support decision making

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
