Job summary

BoomerangFX is seeking a Finance Manager to bridge finance with day-to-day operations in a fast-growing tech company. You will focus on financial planning, operational performance, revenue management, forecasting, and business analysis across multiple revenue streams and lines.

The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly analytical, and comfortable collaborating with leaders across Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A or related field.
• Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience with multiple revenue streams and business lines.

Your Role in a Nutshell

The Finance Manager will play a key role in connecting finance with day-to-day business operations. This position will focus on financial planning, operational performance, revenue management, forecasting, and business analysis across multiple revenue streams and business lines.

Working closely with the Director of Finance and operational leaders, you will provide financial insights that help the organization understand performance, optimize revenue, manage costs, and make informed decisions.

What You Will Do

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across multiple business lines and revenue streams.
• Develop a deep understanding of the organization's revenue models, pricing structures, customer economics, and operational drivers.
• Monitor and analyze performance across multiple revenue streams, identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other business leaders to understand operational performance and translate it into financial outcomes.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and business cases to support growth initiatives and operational decisions.
• Prepare monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual analysis, clearly explaining key business drivers and performance variances.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and operational metrics to provide leadership with visibility into business performance.
• Analyze revenue growth, gross margins, customer acquisition costs, retention, utilization, pricing, and other key commercial metrics.
• Support management in identifying opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, optimize costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with operational leaders on annual budgets, resource planning, headcount planning, and financial targets.
• Build reporting and dashboards that provide timely visibility into revenue, profitability, operational performance, and business trends.
• Support revenue forecasting and pipeline analysis, working with commercial teams to assess expected performance and future growth.
• Analyze the financial impact of new products, services, pricing initiatives, geographic expansion, and other strategic opportunities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support day-to-day operational and strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with accounting to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and appropriately reflected in management reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting automation, data quality, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and improve financial reporting processes as the company scales across multiple markets and business lines.
• Lead and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Support senior leadership with ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects.

What We’re Looking For

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, financial analysis, commercial finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation is an asset, but not required.
• Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple revenue streams, business lines, products, or service offerings.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between operational performance, revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Experience partnering with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other business functions to drive financial and operational performance.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and business-case development.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of financial and operational data and turn it into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, revenue metrics, margins, profitability, and operational drivers.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with financial reporting, ERP, BI, or analytics platforms.
• Experience in a high-growth, multi-entity, SaaS, technology, healthcare, or service-based environment is an asset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance leaders.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to move between strategic analysis and hands‑on execution.

Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus
