Job summary

Enwave Energy Corporation is seeking a Director, Financial Reporting & Compliance to lead financial reporting, controllership, and global compliance. You will oversee shared services, audits, and internal controls while modernizing processes and strengthening governance across the business.

You will report to the CFO and guide a high-performing team, ensuring accurate, timely financial statements under IFRS and regulatory requirements, with a focus on scalable, automated finance operations.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with IFRS reporting expertise.
• 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Experience leading financial reporting, compliance, audit, and controllership.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop teams through change.
• Experience with automation and scalable finance processes.
• Experience managing external auditors and tax advisors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, controllership, shared services, compliance, audit, and internal controls.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements, corporate accounting activities, accounting policy, IFRS compliance.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Oversee relationships with external auditors and tax advisors; manage annual audits and governance processes.
• Drive transformation to modernize finance processes and expand automation (Dynamics 365, Power BI).
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team; support CFO and Board reporting.
