Job summary

InnPower seeks a Director, Finance & Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, controllership, billing, settlements, budgeting, treasury and financial operations across InnPower and affiliated entities.

Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure the integrity of financial reporting, maintain internal controls, support statutory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in finance operations while guiding the finance team and collaborating with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• CPA designation and active status.
• Minimum of ten years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within utility or multi-entity structure.
• Minimum of five years of senior leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary finance teams.
• Ontario electricity distributor or public sector asset is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations for InnPower, InnServices and affiliated corporations.
• Ensure timely IFRS financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and disclosures.
• Develop and apply accounting policies.
• Lead annual external audits and coordinate audit activities.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Support ERP implementations and finance-system improvements.
• Promote data integrity and governance.
