Job summary

Super.com is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering focused on Finance Automation within Data Engineering. You will lead a team of data and analytics engineers responsible for the financial data behind our general ledger, sales tax filing and month-end close, including dbt models, pipelines, and NetSuite syncs.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Data Engineering and help shape the technical roadmap, drive end-to-end projects, and mentor engineers in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data or analytics engineer
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience
• Strong SQL and dbt proficiency
• Experience owning financial data for GL, month-end close, and reconciliation
• Ability to translate stakeholder requests into scoped plans

Responsibilities

• Oversee a full-stack team of 5+ data/analytics engineers and contribute to hiring
• Lead end-to-end transformational projects in a data-driven startup environment
• Shape technical roadmap and drive agile processes for the team
• Mentor team members and ensure growth opportunities
• Maintain high release quality with code reviews and end-to-end tests
• Contribute technically through design docs and complex components
