Qualifications

• 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in Canadian charities.
• Experience filing T3010S and HST/PSB rebates.
• Knowledge of ASNPO (Not-for-Profit Standards).
• Advanced QuickBooks Online and Excel skills.
• Strong data analysis and reconciliation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and bank deposits.
• File the Annual Registered Charity Information Return (T3010) to maintain charitable status.
• Issue donation receipts in compliance with CRA guidelines.
• File PSB rebate applications to maximize rebates.
• Process payroll for 12 staff and prepare year-end T4/T4A slips.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly reports for the Executive Director and Treasurer.
• Track and reconcile fundraising revenues and expenses.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring internal financial controls.
