Job summary

Moxon Personnel Ltd. is assisting a client in Vancouver in recruiting a seasoned Director of Finance. This role reports to the President and COO and requires strong leadership to manage a growing service-sector organization.

You will guide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic financial planning with the President and Board Members. The successful candidate will mentor a six-person accounting team, and contribute to banking relationships while driving initiative and self-motivation

Job description

Our client is a growing organization in an exciting segment of Vancouver’s service sector. Their growth has required them to hire a seasoned Director of Finance to report directly to the President and COO. This organization’s sales have grown in excess of 200% in the last 2 years and they expect the growth to continue. The successful candidate must be able to assist with the budgeting and forecasting duties and provide the President with accurate and timely information. You will also be very involved in the preparation of cash flows and ensuring that you’re providing the banks with relevant information. You will also be involved with strategic planning from the financial side in conjunction with the President and various Board Members. You will be supervising and mentoring an accounting team of six staff. Our client’s remuneration package is very generous. You must be a person that shows great initiative and is self motivated.
