Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Finance Controller/Coordinator in British Columbia to support CMS construction management projects. You will manage finance, invoicing, and contract administration while coordinating with project teams and external partners.

The role is a dual responsibilities position with hands-on training through 2026. You will contribute to budget tracking, reporting, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounting & Finance experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Pivot Tables.
• Strong English writing and oral communication skills.
• Valid BC Driver's License (Class 5).
• Survey or Construction Industry knowledge preferred.
• Organized, efficient and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Project Manager role in Oracle (Finance side).
• Open Contracts/Projects management.
• Budget control - all levels.
• Finance duties and review project estimates & margins.
• Manage all requests from WSP Finance.
• Project >$1M financial reviews/monthly.
• Invoicing and creation/control of client invoices.
• Document Controller role for small size as needed.
• System Administration for data storage and tools.
• Monitor project budgets and reports.
• Coordination with Managers and maintenance of auditable information.
