Job summary

WSP in Canada seeks a Project Finance Controller/Coordinator to support the CMS Division in British Columbia. You will handle finance and administrative tasks for Construction Managers and staff, with hands-on training through 2026 for a retirement position.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of Accounting & Finance experience.
• Survey or Construction Industry knowledge preferred.
• Must be proficient with Excel spreadsheets & Pivot Tables.
• Must be organized, efficient and confident with an ability in utilizing MS Office suite.
• Must be a positive, team-oriented and a creative thinker who likes a challenge.
• Must have strong English writing and oral communication skills.
• Must have a valid Class 5 BC Drivers License and Clean Driving Abstract.

• Review project estimates & margin ratios; Manage all requests from WSP Finance; Project >$1M financial reviews/monthly.
• Create, review and control all client invoices; Contract & billing terms – setup/manage & control.
• Document Controller role for small size as & when Supervision teams; System Administration for data storage, external software and tools.
• Project data tracking, collection and filing; Field office administration.
• Track agreements & coordinate renewals; Track WSBC, Insurances & request updated as required; Initiate New Vendors & reactivations.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $69,700 - $92,300

MB & ON: $63,600 - $87,500

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $62,900 - $83,600
