Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Finance Controller/Coordinator to join our CMS Division in Canada. You will handle finance support for construction managers, manage contracts, budgets, invoicing, and data for projects across British Columbia, with a retirement position and training through 2026.

The role emphasizes project accounting, contract administration, and coordinating with WSP Finance on project data, renewals, and contractor agreements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounting & Finance experience.
• Survey or Construction Industry knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with Excel spreadsheets & Pivot Tables.
• Organized, efficient and confident with MS Office suite.
• Positive, team-oriented and creative thinker who likes a challenge.
• Strong English writing and oral communication skills.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets and reports.
• Invoicing: create, review and control client invoices.
• Contract & billing terms setup and management.
• Accountant/Finance support for CMS Construction Managers and staff.
• Open contracts/projects and budget control at all levels.
• Perform monthly financial reviews for projects over $1M.
• Coordinate with WSP Finance on requests and data storage.
