Job description

Title: Finance Business Analyst / Project Manager
Location: Montréal, QC H3A 2A6
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $69.65/hr

Main Responsibilities

1. Regulatory projects: Adapting finance reporting to meet Regulatory requirements for Head office.
2. Business Projects: Adapting finance systems to handle new products or needs from Front Office, ALMT, business lines, or functions.
3. Internal Finance projects: Coordinating Finance teams to achieve internal goals (organization topics, internal requests from the Group, CFO executive committee).
4. Digital projects: Automating and streamlining Finance processes.
5. Coordinate with Fresh and other internal stakeholders across F&T to ensure on-time, quality project delivery. Gather and report project costs, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
6. Develop detailed project plans including documentation, testing and execution protocols, tasks, budgets, timelines, and status metrics. Collect and analyze user requirements and business processes.
7. Investigate data sources, explain anomalies, identify, and correct them. Build remediation plans.
8. Provide data to team leads for strategic decision-making.

Skills Required

1. Strong knowledge of Project Management processes and workflows.
2. Experience in business and system analysis within the financial services industry.
3. Result-oriented approach.
4. Good understanding of banking products and services.
5. Ability to analyze large data sets and condense findings.
6. Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

1. University degree in Finance/Accounting.
2. PMP and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
