This full-time role focuses on ensuring operational effectiveness, leading production teams, and maintaining high quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates have supervision experience and a passion for innovation in the beauty industry.

Job description

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Filling Associate Manager – responsible for providing visible leadership on the manufacturing floor and ensuring operational effectiveness.

Location: 123 Eastside Manufacturing Facility, Etobicoke; Full-time role.

PAY RANGE

Base hourly pay: $32.00 to $33.50 (exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget).

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

• Instill a culture of continuous improvement among employees.
• Identify opportunities in production workflow and process reliability to reduce downtime and meet quality standards, documenting results.
• Lead teams to run production on the line while ensuring safety and product quality.
• Identify defects on equipment, cleaning, inspections and execute corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the completion of assigned projects on time.
• Investigate all accidents and submit accident reports on the date of occurrence.
• Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping in the Production Department.
• Communicate relevant information to team members, understanding its impact on morale and productivity.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• Prior technical experience in processing and packaging manufacturing is an asset.
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma is desired.
• Proven supervisory and problem‑solving skills.
• Relevant education or equivalent work experience in manufacturing is an asset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and a passion for innovation in the beauty industry.
