DECIEM | THE ABNORMAL BEAUTY COMPANY is hiring a Quality Assurance Associate at our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke, Ontario. This on-site role supports quality standards in production and compounding processes.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, demonstrating strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dynamics 365, and understanding of GMP. The position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $50,000 based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Regulatory Affairs within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Proficiency in key software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Issue Master Batch Packaging Records (MBPR), Compounding Batch Records (CBR), and logbooks as needed.
• Document batch details, verify reconciliations, and review MBPR and CBR for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare Packaging Assembly Instructions for Fill & Pack operations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Process Quality Orders in D365 for each production order.
• Perform daily weighing scale verification checks.
• Conduct random kettle cleanliness checks for routine batching processes.
• Perform in-process checks during batching.
• Verify documents generated from the Pre-weigh and Compounding areas.
• Verify machine parameters used during the batching process.

Job Overview

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Associate to maintain quality standards in our production and compounding processes. This on‑site role is based at our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke.

Pay range: $45,000 to $50,000. Exact salary depends on experience, skills, education and budget.

Responsibilities

• Issue Master Batch Packaging Records (MBPR), Compounding Batch Records (CBR), and logbooks as needed.
• Document batch details, verify reconciliations, and review MBPR and CBR for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare Packaging Assembly Instructions for Fill & Pack operations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Process Quality Orders in D365 for each production order.

• Conduct random kettle cleanliness checks for routine batching processes, new product development (NPD), and existing product development (EPD).
• Perform in‑process checks during batching (e.g., temperature, speeds, weights, timing).
• Verify documents generated from the Pre‑weigh and Compounding areas.
• Verify machine parameters used during the batching process.
• Conduct required in‑process checks on packaging lines and kettles as per quality standards and specifications.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Regulatory Affairs within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in key software platforms, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP ERP, and Intelex eQMS.
• Strong organizational skills, with exceptional time management and attention to detail.
