DECIEM, The Abnormal Beauty Company, is seeking a chemical warehouse associate for our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke. The role is an on-site afternoon shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, focusing on stock organization, picking, packing, and shipping of materials.

You will handle batch staging materials for the Pre-weigh team, prepare shipments for third parties, and ensure proper TDG practices while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding role; ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Relevant education OR equivalent warehouse experience is an asset.
• WHMIS, Pallet Lift Truck, Forklift certifications are assets.
• TDG Certification is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify expiry dates and COAs as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a chemical warehouse associate to ship and receive goods to ensure prompt delivery.

This is an on-site role based out of our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke.

This is an Afternoon shift position that starts at 3:30 PM and ends at 11:30 PM.

PAY RANGE

The anticipated base hourly for this position is $19.50 to $20.50 an hour.

Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Responsible for organizing and retrieving stock, including picking, and filling orders, packing, and shipping, organizing, and retrieving stock
• Responsible for picking materials for batch staging for the Pre-weigh team
• Prepare shipments of chemicals or bulk for third parties
• Maintain the organization of the chemical room – organizing shelving materials, wrapping skids, and preparing them to be lifted onto the racks
• Provide containers of each lot of newly received materials to Quality Control for testing and to assist with labeling and releasing materials
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials
• Ensure TDG requirements are followed when handling Dangerous Goods
• Gather materials from a Pick List
• Verify expiry dates, or asking supervisor to check lot codes and COAs
• Provide materials for testing

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• This is a physically demanding position and requires the ability to lift 25kg containers of raw materials
• Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in a warehouse environment is an asset
• WHMIS, Pallet Lift Truck, Forklift certifications are an asset
• TDG Certification is an asset
• Ability to multi-task
