Job summary

Colonial Group in Vaughan, Canada, is seeking a field-oriented technical support specialist for Roofing and Building Envelope systems. You will provide on-site evaluations, training, and warranty support across multiple sites.

Candidates should have 3–5 years roof installation experience, a Red Seal Journeyman Roofer/Waterproofer is an asset, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication. Travel is frequent and collaboration with sales and technical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with roof installation.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Red Seal Journeyman Roofer/Waterproofer is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for systems installed on jobsites.
• Support on equipment used to apply the products.
• Provide required training to clients on Soprema products.
• Ensure proper construction of products on site to meet design.
• Diagnose installation issues and determine solutions.
• Complete site visit reports for warranty projects promptly.
• Track warranty projects with site visits per technical requirements.
• Provide feedback to sales and technical teams on new or existing products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Director/Supervisor.

Job description

Provide technical support to the sales department and our client base for Roofing and Building Envelope systems installed on the different sites. Provide internal and external training related to the processes and recommendations of uses on Soprema products. Provide on site evaluation on installation of Soprema systems. Provide assistance as required on any potential leak call investigations, that may arise in our platinum warranty program.

• Ensure that all warrantyprojects are tracked with site visits as per our technical department requirements.
• Provide technicalfeed backand support to sales and technicaldepartmenton new products and or any existing products to ensure compatibilitywithcompany’sexisting products andsystems.
• Perform any other related dutiesas assigned bySalesDirector/Supervisor.

Your Education

Work Conditions
